Join us on Saturday, April 19th, 2025 at LILA Upper School in Forest Lake, MN for a half-day of sessions dedicated to best practices for instruction, successful use of resources, program administration, teacher training and professional development, as well as research relevant for all levels and types of dual language bilingual education.

Call for Proposals
Minnesota Association for Bilingual Education (MinnABE) invites professionals, students, and community members to submit proposals for our first annual Spring conference on Saturday, April 19th, 2025 in Forest Lake, MN. We invite proposals related to best practices for instruction, successful use of resources, program administration, teacher training and professional development, as well as research relevant for all levels and types of dual language bilingual education.
Possible topics:
- How to evaluate partner language growth, set and measure benchmarks.
- Indigenous and heritage language education.
- Critical consciousness among educators, students, and community partners.
- How to balance the READ act requirements with partner language goals.
- Secondary continuation programming opportunities and challenges.
- Differentiation using AI generated texts.
- Other topics related to dual language bilingual education.
