Call for Executive Board officers

Apply to join the MinnABE Executive Board. We are seeking passionate individuals for key leadership roles. Board candidates must be current members of MinnABE. Registration at our annual conference includes membership. Board terms begin on June first and run for two years, ending on May 31st. 

  • Vice President: Assists the President and presides over meetings in the President’s absence. A two-year term as vice president is followed by a two-year term as president, making this a longer commitment.(President: Presides over meetings, plan the annual conference, represents the Organization, and oversees operations. The role of president is assumed for a two-year term by the outgoing VP.)
  • Secretary: Keeps minutes of meetings, manages correspondence in collaboration with the President and the Vice-President, and maintains records of membership, contact information, and mailing lists.
  • Treasurer: Manages financial accounts, prepares budgets, and reports on financial status.
  • Webmaster: Maintain and update website, create landing pages.
  • Communications Director:  Create and send newsletters, keep track of data, manage the mailing system, create publicity materials for MinnABE events.Self-nominations are due Friday March 20 and voting will happen at the Spring Conference.
